ZeroDT I/O-24
- Our Most Popular Product – Perfect for any industrial facility operating various electronic devices
- 24 volt, 2 loop or 4-wire applications
- Analog signals (4-20 mA), discrete digital inputs/signals, pulsed inputs/outputs, RS-485/422/232 & digital communications as well as DC power lines.
The ZeroDT I/O-24 utilizes the latest generation, non-degrading Silicon Avalanche Suppression Diodes (SASDs) to protect electronic equipment and systems from transient over-voltages. The unit is designed to limit the energy of these surges on 4-20 mA current loops, discrete digital inputs/signals, pulsed inputs/outputs, RS485/422/232 communication lines, digital buses as DeviceNet, FOUNDATION™ Fieldbus and PROFIBUS PA, without causing any communication degradation, as well as low voltage DC power lines. The unit easily mounts on a standard DIN rail and houses the 8 connection lugs (4 In and 4 Out) and the SASD suppression circuitry. This SASD technology provides continuous, bi-directional (eliminating installation issues), and bi-polar (both positive and negative) protection that returns to its original state (no loss or degradation of protection with usage) once the overvoltage has passed.

ZeroDT DC-24
- Ultimate protection for 24 Vdc systems
With the flexibility to be used as parallel-connected, or shunt, protector, the ZeroDT DC-24 is a DIN rail mounted 24 Volt DC lightning/surge protector that can be connected directly to your DC distribution bus to defend all of your sensitive devices against overvoltage transients/surges. (The unit can also be used as series-connected protector for loads up to 15 Amps.) The protection of the ZeroDT DC-24 utilizes state of the art semiconductor devices, Silicon Avalanche Suppression Diodes (SASDs) to effective protection against electrical transient surges that are generated both by lightning events and switching events. It supports long-term system reliability by safely shunting high amounts of transient energy while maintaining a very low clamping voltage. Unlike many competitive devices, the ZeroDT DC-24’s SASD protection, in each of it 3 protection modes, does not degrade with repeated usage.
- Nominal Voltage: 24 Vdc or 24 Vac
- Max. Cont. Operating Voltage: 39 Vdc or 27.5 Vac
- Maximum Surge Current (Ipeak)
- 8/20 µs, Line-to-Ground: >5 kA
- 10/1000 µs, Line-to-Ground: >350 Amps
- Product Dimensions: 57 mm H x 57 mm W x 92 mm D
- Wiring: Can be connected in Series (15A max) or as a Parallel/Shunt protector
- Module is Listed for use in ordinary as well as Class 1, Div 2 Hazardous Locations
ZeroDT GB-1
- Single line protection for Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet devices
The ZeroDT GB-1 utilizes state of the art semiconductor devices, TBUs (Transient Blocking Units) in a hybrid circuit topology to provide Ethernet (10/100 BASE-T) and Gigabit Ethernet (1000 BASE-T) devices with carrier grade surge and lightning transient protection. The protector provides long-term system reliability by blocking damaging overvoltage transient energy to prevent damage yet is transparent to the data thruput of the line during normal operation. The module has been tested to the Telecommunications Port Type 3 & 5, Level I & II Lightning Requirements as well as Severe Climatic Conditions as outlined in GR-1089-CORE so you can rest easy knowing your devices are well protected. The low capacitance TBUs act as ‘ultra-fast disconnect switches’ — When an overvoltage situation occurs, the TBU ‘disconnects’ the equipment, and as soon as the voltage on the line returns to normal levels, it returns to its original state and allows the communications to resume unhindered, while being ready for the next overvoltage event.
- Data Rates/Protocol: 10/100/1000 Base-T (Ethernet & Gigabit Ethernet)
- Max. Cont. Operating Voltage: 11 Vdc
- Maximum Surge Current (Ipeak)
- 8/20 µs, Line-to-Ground: >20 kA
- 10/1000 µs, Line-to-Ground: >100 Amps
- Product Dimensions: 57 mm H x 57 mm W x 92 mm D
- Wiring: RJ-45, series connected, all 8 pins protected
- Module is Listed for use in ordinary as well as Class 1, Div 2 Hazardous Locations
ZeroDT GB-2
- 2 Line protection for Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet devices
The ZeroDT GB-2 utilizes state of the art semiconductor devices, TBUs (Transient Blocking Units) in a hybrid circuit topology to provide Ethernet (10/100 BASE-T) and Gigabit Ethernet (1000 BASE-T) devices with carrier grade surge and lightning transient protection.
